Search engine optimization, commonly referred to as SEO, is the process of optimizing a website to improve and increase it’s rankings in search engine results pages (SERPs). SEO can essentially be split into two different categories.

On site optimization deals with everything that happens on your website, and includes  SEO considerations such as the copy (text and content), the structure of your site’s pages, and technical points such as Meta tags and code structure. Off Site Optimization

Off site optimization, involves  everything that happens off of your website. For example, who is linking to your website?  Where  are those backlinks coming from? (e.g. a blog or a directory) What anchor text is being used? (i.e. the text used for the physical link itself) Because you are not likely in control of these elements, they can be quite difficult to improve.

1. Website Analysis

Our SEO experts begin the SEO project with an in depth review of the current state of your website, research where your site currently ranks for each business related keyword term and then determine which elements of your website that we feel need changing. We will thoroughly inspect your website and consult with you to identify the main keywords which should be targeted to help your business grow. 2. SEO Process

After the initial analysis of your website, we will consult with you and come to agreement on which keywords you should target. Among a few of the strategies that we will implement are article writing, social media elements, back link submissions, and blogs. All of which will help to improve the off page elements of your website’s SEO strategy.

We will additionally work with you to implement the recommended onsite optimization changes. These may include elements of the site such as meta data, headers, and structure changes to help make the site more SEO friendly. These factors often make an almost immediate difference in the SEO results.  Site structure, layout, and design play a key role in the SEO performance of the website.

3. On-going SEO

Like any good investment, SEO is a long term process. Trying to game the system and go for cheap, quick results can do permanent damage to your rankings. In fact, Google will penalize or possibly de-index your website if it notices an unnatural spike in the number of back links to it. Good SEO practices focus on diverse and quality link building from good and relevant sources.
